Kate Moss Topshop Collection- a sad day for fashion...

The 1st of May will forever be rememberd as the day Moss believed she could *i know i can, i know i can i know i can chug chug chug*. For fugs sakes! All I can say on this matter, is that Moss has become a complete sell out, forgetting that to design is an art, and you can only take credit when its due. Furthermore, the collection is a kick in the teeth to undergraduates worldwide studying, let alone to those graduates now reaping the benefits of their hard work. Moss didn't even try its pathetic, but who can blame her, she isn't a fashion designer lets not forget- she is a model, a mere mortal? A very sad, sad, state of affairs indeed. And all of the poor unfortunate souls lapping it up... I won't tarnish the page with images from her less than sale worthy collection, here's the link for your veiwing pleasure- http://www.katemosstopshop.com/ .

Gareth Pugh's ghoulish intentions...

Having clarified the difference between Gareth Pugh and House of Holland with the bbf (best best friend) in a shocking ‘tell all’ moment last night, a nightmare about the bunny from the recent show followed: A skin diseased, human flesh eating pale monstrosity, which resembled both dinosaur and the elephant man simultaneously, slimy narrow knife like teeth included, was zipped up in the bunny for the show! To my horror Gareth himself did this, without notifying anyone! So while the audience clapped and tooted at this wondrous designer’s knack as a futuristic visionary laced with good old humour, I hid in the shadows of the curtain, anticipating that this ghoulish beast would tear through the oh so misleading suit and let it rip at the unsuspecting crowds of photographers and fashionisas (maybe not such a bad thing)! Surprisingly this didn't happen at all, which got me thinking that maybe all of the masked 'models' were infact, creatures Gareth had frankenstined in his little laboratory aka 'design studio'...thankfully at that point I woke up, though in a cold sweat, and siged with relief that it was indeed my overactive imagination haggering into the depths of sleep...

high street...who did that?

My bbf Steph just said something profound
'The high street is TOO ACCESSIBLE. Its easy, I DON'T WANT it anymore. Nothing desireable has ever been easy, that is the nature of desire...topshop shall be the victim of its own accessibility.'
I'm moved to tears... Lily Cole will make it all better....

without sounding sarcastic this is easily the world's most enigmatic model...if topshop ever books her again I think i'l turn my insides out and jump onto a bed of body-charring ember coals...

!the coconut twins!

These are the girls hitting the London underground scene at the moment with more than just their experimental electro D.J. antics oozing style and attitude under the belt. Let me introduce you to the coconut twins, that is if you haven't heard of them already. There's Kesh: dj, entrepreneur, fashion designer, and Zezi who describes herself as the 'preposterous girl’ both recently pictured in i:D looking red hawt in some crazy couture! With influences ranging from Bjork to Bounty Killer, this duo has landed many gigs in and around London town's most eclectic haunts- The End, Dirty Canvas, as well as border crossing into Paris Fashion Week and recently Berlin, and individually they are working towards different channels forming networks to behold! Pimp!
See I’m intrigued by Kesh's fashion label which is gaining international recognition in the States with its colour doodle drizzled graphics. What’s cool about Kesh Wear is the fact that I don't know anyone who's ever heard of it (perhaps something to do with being in Edinburgh), reminiscent of BAPE days before eBay overindulged. Its super exclusive and to be fair I’d be sad to see it go boutique style just because the high street will follow suite. Find Kesh in April Vogue modelling for Kate Moss's new line for topeshope.
Another designer, in this !pimp! network is Carrie Mundane whose label CASSETEPLAYA is too so nice! I coolclocked her outside Topshop Ox St not knowing who she was. The very same day I opened up latest issue of i:D and bam there she was rocking the same skirt but in a different colour. She is so friggin awesome yeh and that's said groupie style. Her collection like Kesh's is MENTAl. It looks insane- like its so close to the 90's that you almost get scared, in the sense that you don't want to look like your wardrobe has not been updated since the 90's.
But then on closer inspection you realise that actually this is the real deal. Finally a designer who designs clothes that only smart people can wear! I love, love when you become the only person out of a group of 10 that can pull something off. Obviously you need confidence and balls, but when designers like Kesh and Carrie are both the former and the latter that only comes natural to the person who chooses to rock it. Like these girls have serious skittle attitude. It’s really interesting to finally find designers making the street style rather than reinterpreting it into a 'wearable' collection.
